One of the things i want to accomplish this year is to get a colored tattoo. It's not my first, i already have seven tats and i can't seem to stop (yes, tattoos are addicting). Currently, i am extremely fascinated with Oriental designs, hence the obsession with cherry blossoms.
Chinese Cherry Blossom.
For the Chinese the cherry blossom is a very significant symbol of power, it represents a feminine beauty and sexuality and it often holds an idea of power or female dominance.
Japanese Cherry Blossom.
For the Japanese, the cherry blossom holds a different meaning. The cherry blossom is a very delicate flower that blooms for a very short period of time. For the Japanese this represents the transience of life.
I haven't seen your back but this is a fantastic tat.
